Refund policy

 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have lasts 30 days from the date your order was placed. 

If 30 days have gone by since the date of your purchase, whether from the first order or subsequent recurring order(s), unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund, partial refund, or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@brushbox.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Annual subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time after 30 days from placing their (first or subsequent) order(s), in which case their annual subscription will not roll over into a subsequent year and they will not be charged again, but as per the terms above, no refund will be given for any future products not received through your choice to cancel.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, such as (if applicable) any item not being returned in its original condition, or damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days, subject to any longer time period prescribed by your card provider.

We will consider refunds for any products returned to us within 30 days of being notified of your concern. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on any product. Returns received after 30 days following your notification to us of a possible fault may not be eligible for a refund, at our sole discretion.

 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@brushbox.com.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, please return the item to us for inspection and send us an email at hello@brushbox.com. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a one-off, single use gift code will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

The return of any faulty goods must be sent by recorded Royal Mail delivery and the product will be inspected.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any shipping costs incurred by us will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item on or over £20, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and take no responsibility for any items which were not received by us and for which you did not choose to ship tracking.
